On June 3rd,2014, a uniquely designed "treehouse" appeared in a small forest next to the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Wuhan Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The shade of trees is used as a "roof", nylon ropes are woven into "walls", and sturdy trees are used as "pillars".
On the gap between the big trees, there are more than ten wooden platforms made of nylon coated glue, forming "rooms" with a height of about 8 meters from the ground, and a total "building area" of over 60 square meters.
Around the wooden board, there is a "wire wall" made up of white nylon ropes wrapped around it to protect safety. "The creative inspiration for the 'Tree House' design comes from children's imagination, and it took over three months to build."
Introduction by Associate Professor Wan Qian from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The construction of this "treehouse" involved more than 40 kilometers of nylon rope and over 1000 meters of steel wire rope, which can accommodate 40 children to move around on it.
